bad sideing
Pacesetters did my mother's sideing and replace two doors. The sideing is terrible, seams every where, not suppose to have any! One of the doors, lifetime warrenty, lol, screen door wont open, so now I guess she'll have to replace the handles. It may not seem like alike to some, but she is retired and donesn't need extra cost. Thanks for letting me vent.

Re: bad sideing
Sherry,
Two things:
1. If you have siding there are going to be seams. It's just not possible to not have seams. If the salesman told her that he was either a liar, (go figure), or thats what she wanted to hear???
2. Post your e-mail address, I will contact you and may have some parts for your mom's door. I used to be an installer for them and got screwed just like your mom. I have helped several people through this website and may be able to help you. Hope to hear from you.

Re: bad sideing
Sherry, I hope that Guest was able to help you with your parts. He is right, all siding has seams. Also, no storm door has a lifetime warranty. Storm doors, if not operated and latched correctly, can get wrenched by the wind, and torqued out of shaped by the wind. They are merely for protecting the main door from the weather, and perform no service beyond that. I have seen many many storm doors ruined by children and pets, and almost taken off the house by wind. If you don't make sure it's latched, then it's the customer's fault.
I'm not saying this to excuse poor workmanship in installation, or to defend anyone or any product. Just a general info comment.
