Lien on property

I need info

My mother dealt with pacesetter in 1994. She died in 1995 and because the house was in a trust and was not signed as such, a lawyer wrote a letter to pacesetter saying we did not owe any more money because of the trust. We haven't heard from pacesetter or from anyone concerning this matter for over 10 years. Now we sold the land and found out there is a lien on the property, but the company no longer exists. Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this matter.

Thanks for any info
