leaky window
I had my windows put in by Pacesetters and at the time had nothing but trouble, they destroyed my window sill in the Kitchen, damage to the outside of my house, wholes in the house at the window site and I argued with them for probably a year. Now in my living room I have a spot under my window that they put in that looks wet and I am having someone come out today to look at it. The window is leaking. Can I get Pacesetter's to pay for this, or maybe my homeowners. There is supposed to be a life time warranty. That is how they sold everyone on the windows and doors. HELP. I am poor and my husband is dead. I need helpful advice

Re: leaky window
Homeowner's insurance might cover it. There's no way you'll get Pacesetter to pay for it, as they're gone, making that wonderful lifetime warranty completely useless. The people who ran Pacesetter are now at MyContractor.com and Quality First Home Improvements, Inc, but they won't help you either, unless you actually hire them, in which case you'll probably find yourself in the same position later on.
