What can we do?
About 5 days ago my sisters an i were attempting to enroll our mother in a program that repairs homes through a city funded program. We were filling out paperwork when we were informed that Pacesetter had a lien on my mother`s house that dated back to 92/93.We have the banks name, but with Pacesetter out of business, which way should we direct our efforts? Please respond with any advice or help that you have.My mother is about to be 85 yrs old and my father passed away in 93.Thanks,, Reggie G. Re: What can we do?
all the liens from the old Pacesetter were held by Federal Diversified Services out of Omaha, Ne..I am an old Pacesetter employee and it was my understanding that FDS was not sold to the characters who ruined Pacesetter... I would start by looking for FDS in Omaha, Ne... If you have proof that the contract has been paid off, you should be able to get the mortgage released at your local courthouse... Have you tried that... Good Luck
